He was just a teenager of 15 when Chris Banke realized that he possessed an absolute passion for training dogs; the kind of passsion that few others have and that leads to a lifetime of being the best in the business. His career started when he founded the Algemeiner Schutzhund Club and an older, more experienced trainer took a shining to him and helped him work out the raw talent she saw. she is the one who convinced him to work with German Shepherds. That was a change in direction he has never regretted.
In the 30 or so years since, Christopher Banke has grown to become one of the most renowned trainers in the United States In part, that came about due to the sheer volume of work and the skills building he endured. He founded his own dog training business, “Chris Banke Protection Dog Trainer” before he was 20 and he established his own breeding kennel soon after. That kennel trained many dogs to go on to compete and win at every competitive level, and to produce dogs who later became essential to the law enforcement and entertainment industries, among many others.
